Who are We? Where are We?

No wonder many Finnish people consider Tampere one of the most comfortable cities in Finland. Tampere is a big city by Finnish standards but somehow it manages to maintain its little town feeling. In the centre everything you need is just a few minutes walk away. Old buildings made of red brick, theatres, clubs, cafes, shops, parks, rapids and bridges characterize the centre of Tampere. Hogbacks and the location between two lakes make nature in Tampere very unique.

There are over 30 active members in our LC. Our members are not only Finnish students but also students from all over the world. So you won’t feel left alone. AIESEC Tampere is also the biggest local committee in Finland.  Here you can develop practical and professional skills that you will need in (working) life, leadership, marketing, presentation and team work skills to name a few. You have the chance to try your wings in safe and forgiving environment. We also hold cultural events, skills trainings, projects, seminars and parties for our members. An important part of our activity is also the cooperation with companies and other organizations world wide.

How to find us, if you happen to be studying at the University of Tampere, the Tampere University of Technology or Tampere Polytechnic, it’s possible for you to join AIESEC. If you are interested in learning more about us, just stop by at the offices. You can also come straight to any of our events which sound interesting to you and if everything else fails visit us at http://www.aiesec.fi/tampere/contact/
